The money we raise through Walk MS support life changing programs for people living with MS in our community and drive cutting-edge research. Walk route:The route follow the path around Canyon View Park with scenic views of the Bookcliffs and the National Monument. A 1.5 and 3 mile route will be available. There is no registration fee required, but we encourage fundraising. Music, $5 pancake breakfast, photo booth, silent auction and more. |

| May 16 24th Annual HFA: Living with Grief: When Grief Is Complicated |
This free program, provided by Taylor Funeral Services & Crematory and HopeWest, brings back award-winning journalist Frank Sesno, CNN Commentator to moderate our annual teleconference. This program will examine factors that generate complicated grief reactions, estimated to be present in 10-20 percent of all grievers, impairing their ability to function socially or occupationally. Panelists will address how to screen for complicated grief reactions and therapeutic approaches that can be used in complicated grief. This educational program combines presentations by experts with video, discussion, and additional complimentary learning materials. CE credits are available. Open to all community members.
